What is the ending? !

After watching the movie, there are a few things I don't understand.

The first is the ending. It was said that the man in the mist had killed 5 girls, but in the end there were 6 red hair in the psychiatrist's box. So Ana Lu was killed by a doctor? Who is the girl lying next to the doctor with a heart attack in the last scene by the river? As an Asian who can't tell the faces of Europeans and Americans, I really can't be sure if it's Anna Lu. If so, it means that the professor did not succeed in killing her, and the doctor picked her up after throwing her body. The person who finally killed her was actually the doctor?

Secondly, if the professor killed Annalu purely for money and to get compensation, then why would he add the same mark on his wrist as hers? Isn't this just a pervert showing off and commemorating his achievements? Feeling that it does not fit the characteristics of the character, the professor is so cautious, the goal is clear and the goal is clear, and this kind of mistake should not be made. What's more, he himself said that the most stupid sin of the devil is vanity, isn't he talking about himself?

I feel that in order to have a burden, the author and director's design is a bit far-fetched, and there is an unexpected but unreasonable regret.

The Girl in the Fog quotes

  • Agente Vogel: Someone took her. Let's stop tiptoeing around it and call a spade a spade, or we'll waste time, and that time belongs to Anna Lou.

  • Prof. Loris Martini: Someone once said the devil's dumbest sin is vanity.
