The story of "Let the Bullets Fly" seems to be summed up simply in one phrase. It's as ridiculous as summing up "Schindler's List" with "one person saved a group of people". Designing something and implementing something are two completely different things. Many people are very good at designing a very "twisting" scene, but what about after twisting? How the tense atmosphere is spread out; how the various forces are wrestling in twists and turns; whether the rhythm is to change a little faster or a little slower at a certain moment; the action scenes should be played for a few minutes, and who wins; who should die, who should be injured, how How to die, how to get hurt, how to make these kinds of details reasonable and appropriate is the more display of skill. It is precisely because of the continuous improvement in these details that "Let the Bullets Fly", which has revised more than 30 drafts, has reached a near-perfect attitude at the story level. The film begins with a "misunderstanding" and uses this as an introduction, triggering an inevitable confrontation of personalities. Without this misunderstanding, three people with completely different personalities would not be screwed together. This introduction is quite malleable, and the later expansion is even more wonderful.

I got up early in the morning and ran to see it. I can't say I was disappointed, but this is not the Jiang Wen I expected.
