Friendship in War of Wings

I watched it for 15 years, and when I was sorting out the space, I stumbled upon this film review that is not a film review~

The film is set in the First World War and tells the story of David and Jack's friendship during the war. Every time they board the plane, when David shouts "ALL SET?" and Jack shouts "OK!!", a tacit understanding arises spontaneously; but they like the same woman after all, and the photo that should have been given to David was taken by Jack When Jack was showing it to David, David found the words behind the small photo, maybe he didn't want Jack to know about it, so after the photo was scattered, David tore the small photo, Jack was very angry, and after boarding the plane, David shouted "ALL SET", and Jack ignored it, reading the intuition of the story, probably they would not have such a tacit dialogue next time.

Sure enough, in the following battle, David was injured to protect his teammates, and the plane was severely damaged and crashed. Fortunately, it was by the lake. Although the enemy chased after him and wanted to confirm David's death, they really thought that David was dead. The news immediately reached Jack, who was very sad and wanted to avenge David...

The most ominous scene appeared. David stole the enemy's plane. After Jack won the air battle, he was about to return, but he found that the enemy's plane was in the same channel as him and was about to fly to the US base... Maybe a soldier It was his duty, perhaps outraged by David's death, that Jack attacked David's plane like a madman. After David found out it was Jack, he desperately shouted "Jack", "Jack", "Don't you konw me?" The sad and lost expression was really distressing.

In the end, when David's plane crashed, and when Jack found out that the person in the plane was David, and that David could not be saved, the expression and mood should be mixed. David has not only money, but also a gentleman's demeanor. In the end, he didn't blame Jack. I hope Jack knew it wasn't his fault. Before he died, David said "ALL SET" for the last time, and Jack didn't even answer, so he dead

At the end, when Jack comes to David's house, David's mother says, "I want to hate you, but I konw it's not your falut, it's war!" Maybe, this sentence is the finishing touch of the whole movie, at least I do understand. The scene or something is really good! I can't believe it was a movie made so long ago!

Many times, we think that there are still many opportunities, so we lose our temper at will, cold war at will, and unforgiveness at will, but who knows if this will be the last time? Will I regret not responding to David like Jack did?

The tree wants to be quiet but the wind does not stop, the child wants to be nurtured but the kiss does not wait. Naturally, we will not be deprived of life by war at any time, but who could have imagined what would happen suddenly in the future?

I regard it as a youth romance film, that is, an idol drama. The part of the military war is the background, but in 1927, he has done a very good job, but who would have expected Clara Bow to overshadow all the splendor, Her emotional part is very interesting, very flat, like "A Letter from a Strange Woman", most of it is in one state, but her performance is messy but reasonable, just like Qin Lan in "Story of Yanxi Palace", many The place didn't play well, but it seemed to make perfect sense in the role and became the uniqueness/personality of the character, Clara Baow was able to express all the emotions in this movie bluntly and became a anchor. I also like the bubble scene very much. It seems that there are scenes in animations like "The Spring Night is Short, Girls Go Forward". Thinking of this, Clara Bow is even more interesting.
