The movie "Koga Ninja Post" is adapted from the novel of the same name by the writer Yamada Futaro. The original work was created in 1958. Yamada Fuutaro set off the Japanese ninjutsu literature trend in the last century, and created more than 250 kinds of ninjutsu in his life.
The manga version of "Koga Ninja Post" was created by Masaki Segawa and published in 2003. In April 2005, the animated version was released, and the film version was released in September of the same year.
The original name of the film is "SHINOBI-HEART UNDER BLADE", which is literally translated as "Forbearance-Heart under the Blade".
The background of the story is: In 1614, Tokugawa Ieyasu, who ended the era of war, after watching the battle ninjas of the birthplaces of the two major ninja genres, Koga 卍谷 and Iga Ninja, decided to lift the indiscretion set by the previous generation Hattori Hanzo. The war pact, so that the two ninja villages each choose five top ninjas to compete, and the result will determine the successor of the three generations of generals.

"Koga Ninja Post" is a romantic movie. There is no villain in the story. It presents the cruel reality and tragic fate of ninjas. The story of the movie is complete, the overall rhythm is catchy, the picture of the movie is quite beautiful, the moral of the story is profound, and the actors are superb in acting. It is a work with a high degree of completion.
Speaking of a little regret, the film did not show many strange ninja techniques in the original book due to the limited space, and it lacked the look and feel of "fighting gods". The movie focuses more on telling the fate of ninjas from a higher perspective and worldview.
The 24-episode animated version of "Koga Ninja Post" focuses on the realistic depiction of ninja fighting tactics and peculiar ninja methods, which are full of adult-oriented elements such as blood, violence and pornography. At the same time, the animation focuses on describing the family, love and other emotions between ninjas. The ninjas in the flashback shots in the animation are usually kind and funny ordinary people. Once fought, they are reduced to unscrupulous killing machines. This is the fate of ninjas.
The "Koga Ninja Book" created by Yamada Fuutarou explores the human nature of ninjas from the background of the big era. The movie gives ninjas a good ending, but the seeds of hatred still remain in the hearts of the people of the dark night who have suffered.
