I watched two movies today, both belong to a certain audience. The previous "Fate Night - Cup of Heaven: Flower of Bad Omen" was a fan-oriented work, while this "Uncle Drew" is a movie based on the spirit of basketball. Compared to the Japanese animation, I was confused, at least this "Uncle Drew" was full of laughter. It is not the kind of pure sports and inspirational movie, but it is indeed a sports comedy with strong entertainment. That sense of humor is not a burden that is deliberately shaken out, but a little joke in life that makes people laugh. Although there is no suspense in the plot of the whole story, and even the plot at the last minute can be guessed, it still makes me love this drama, perhaps because of the spirit of basketball, or it may be the level of a few uncles humour, or the fighting spirit that they do not lose to young people. The script of a good work must be strong. The script of this movie is actually a very inconspicuous story, and the development trajectory of the entire story is basically as expected. In fact, this film has made a lot of effort in terms of character development. For the legendary "Uncle Drew" in the film, the shaping from the beginning to the end, including his feelings for friends and basketball, is worth learning from young people. Many small conflicts were easily resolved by these uncles. Perhaps time is the best antidote, but more because they have an indispensable position in each other's hearts. It's hilarious to watch these uncles interact, which is one of the highlights of the movie. The rest of the highlights are probably basketball! There are no star-level actors in this movie, but Irving, Webb, O'Neal and Miller put a lot of effort into this movie, and for me, who knows basketball in general, I also know O'Neal. The big man is indeed quite intelligent. Although he doesn't have many lines, he is sometimes cool, but this is the O'Neal we are familiar with. With him, the audience's enthusiasm for watching the movie is even more profound. Indeed, finding some real athletes for a sports movie, the taste is just different! There is a sense of respect and stimulation to watch the uncles give young people a maddened meal on the sports field. As time goes by, we will eventually grow old, and as we grow older, we will miss the eras such as Jordan and Kobe more and more! In fact, everyone has a past that will make them regret and unbearable. Whether you avoid it or face it depends on each person's choice. The coach in the movie, Dax, loves basketball, but he was questioned and abused because of a mistake or a loss, and he has doubted his life ever since. And these are all you need to rely on yourself to really get out of, no one can really help you out of your own predicament!
