No one suffers alone

A Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, a Lebanese who believes in Christianity, humiliated whom because of a dirty word in the process of repairing the water pipe. Who should apologize to whom? In turn, the two families were involuntarily involved in a confrontation of national-level ethnic hatred.

A small story that tells grand themes such as nation, belief, history, war, and human nature. To see the big from the small, only the master can play it.

In the debate, the harm will undoubtedly expand, hurt the wife and children, and uncover the scars of childhood... However, the premise of solving the problem is to see the problem itself, see the other side, understand each other, and finally achieve reconciliation. This is a necessary process. At the end of the film, the Palestinians incited the other party to raise their fists, let his body get the same "revenge", and then say sorry, this is the most appropriate time. The Lebanese went back to his hometown and lay under the banana tree, he really faced his past history and himself, he really accepted life. One eradicates prejudice and hatred, and the other embraces history and self, which is the most precious thing in exchange for humiliation, broken ribs, tossing appeals, sacrificing family stability.

Although at the end of the film, it returns to the courtroom, to the outcome of this specific case - the acquittal of the Palestinians, which may be the smartest way to end a HTC theme. It may want to express that the world is spiraling upwards, gradually getting better, hatred and reconciliation, not staying in place forever, man is ultimately a higher animal.

But perhaps, the ending is still somewhat "politically correct", showing a narrow perspective. Just think about those fiery, angry people outside the courtroom. Some issues may never be resolved, and it is impossible for everyone to be reconciled because the world is not fair.

Personal point of view, the most precious part of the film, is to invite everyone through this story: please try to understand the world other than you, no one suffers alone.
