After reading "Knight", I can't help but think about a question, if it were me, should I continue to be a rider?

From a mainstream perspective, there is no doubt, of course, listen to the doctor.

However, why is the male protagonist of "Knight" so stubborn and desperate to be a rider?

The whole film is showing the struggle and struggle of the male protagonist. He has tried not to be a rider. He went to the supermarket to find a temporary job during the convalescence period, worked as a horse trainer, took the trouble to communicate with horses, and tamed wild horses step by step.

The process of horse training is the highlight of the film, and the Urban People's Congress can look at it as a curiosity to experience the magic of nature and the maintenance of the relationship between humans and animals.

Rodeo is indeed a very dangerous profession. The male protagonist has lessons to learn from. One of his friends, a once famous rider, was also paralyzed in bed due to a competitive accident and almost became a vegetative state. In the film, the male protagonist visits this friend several times, the same road, the same ending, the male protagonist's friend can be understood as another self, a painful price for a rider.

Even so, he still refuses to give up his dream of being a rider. In his opinion, galloping on the grassland is the mission of a horse, and his mission is to ride a horse.

That's a cowboy's spiritual mission, when the rider will die, but when the rider is not, he will be in endless pain, which is a thousand times more painful than death. This was his experience after struggling, so he resolutely chose heroism and destruction. This was determined from his birth, and had a lot to do with his living environment and the people around him.

When their horses are injured and cannot run on the grasslands, they will be slaughtered. People there are like horses. If they cannot ride on horseback, then they are dead and have no soul.

This is a cowboy's spiritual mission.
