This is the story of a father who lost his son in a car accident, and how his family deals with the loss and grief. The only problem is that the father is a children's show host, so everyone thinks he has a happy life and is an angel for the children. This is a very promising new drama, and I think Jim Carrey is very wise in choosing the script, and the acting is also okay.
The character played by Jim Carrey is called Pickles, and pickles has a meaning to be in trouble and in trouble.
The show might just be a little bleak for my tastes, but once again he's trying to address some of the issues most of us would rather not deal with until they force us. So I appreciate this attempt to bring the subject into the spotlight and illuminate how we can handle grief differently.
So, it's a bleak comedy.
