I thought the movie was decent; it almost made me tear up. But I don't get why the film was structured as if it was a mystery that the protagonist died at a certain time and place, when it is public knowledge.

The acting was good, and Pike even looks a little bit like the main character in real-life. But maybe because the screenwriter didn't want to speak ill of the dead at all, the character was overwhelmingly principled and moral. And even missing an eye, she still managed to get laid left and right...

Anyway, thought it'd get nominated for something, but guess not.

Paul Conroy: There are old journalists and there are bold journalists. There are no old and bold journalists. You said that.
