After watching "The Story of the Big Bad Fox", I was attracted by the style of painting, so I came to watch "Aet and Senna".
The painting style is the same as "The Story of the Big Bad Fox", fresh watercolor hand-painted style.
In the world of this movie, the bear lives on the ground and the rat lives underground, and they have deep prejudice against each other and do not communicate with each other. The most important thing that connects the two worlds is the teeth: rats rely on incisors to develop their civilization, and once they fall out, they need to find a suitable replacement, and bear teeth are the best choice.
When Senna was out looking for bear teeth, he met Aite Bear. The two experienced many difficulties and broke through the prejudice of the two worlds against each other and lived together and became good friends.
The idea of this film is much deeper than "The Big Bad Fox Tale", and the plot of the mouse and the bear becoming good friends implies feelings that are not understood in real life. Senna loves to paint, but is forced to become a dentist. Art Bear likes music, but his family wants him to study law. This is also a projection of real life: facing the things you love, there will always be obstacles in life.
The final ending is a happy ending. The whole movie is still very warm and healing, but I feel that it is still inferior to "The Story of the Big Bad Fox", and some plots are a bit blunt.
But anyway, what this movie wants to tell us is: love is good!
