In the old movie 28 years ago, every actor is beautiful, every frame is beautiful, I admire Director Wong Kar Wai's ability to control the whole movie. Almost every character is a close-up, with a unique real graininess, color conception, shaky shots, and wandering around with the music of that era. This film established Wong Kar-wai's personal style, with a seemingly arbitrary narrative structure. It conceals the meticulous craftsmanship of the story itself, revealing an air of scorn and unmoving indifference. The characteristics and magic of the old and new eras are integrated into a natural way, and the laziness and casualness conceals the tenacity and madness, loneliness and freedom behind the game life. Leslie Cheung contributed a splendid performance that was calm but with hidden strength.
