Omg, it's another film that made me cry. Many people said that the filming was very bland, but I was very moved by watching it, probably because it was presented from the female perspective of the female director, so as a woman, I can empathize with it more.
In fact, the film is indeed relatively simple, more like a documentary from the perspective of the heroine. It feels very similar to "Billy Lynn's Halftime Battle", especially the part of the Iraq War, which is similar to the one after returning home after the war. Not suitable, feel the same. The part about war dogs is definitely a plus. They are loyal, brave, smart, and cute. The point is that Rex in the film is so handsome, I really want to get a German Shepherd! In the second half of the film, I was stunned when I watched it. The heroine said that it was Rex who taught her what love is, and turned her from a bad girl who lacked love into a fighting heroine with responsibility, responsibility and love. . Looking at the pain when they parted, I remembered the cat I raised back then, and every time I think about it, I feel very guilty. Both the heroine and the dog acted very well, and the emotions were well controlled. The only thing I feel a bit regretful about is that the part where the heroine and the dog establish a relationship is a bit sloppy, and there is no sense of substitution. I always feel that the plot of how to build trust is lacking. Another reason why it is so touching is because this is an adaptation of a real story, so it is very real, because we can really feel the emotion!
