Dogs are man's most faithful friend, and because of their human nature, there are countless movies about their friendship with humans.
The movie is about a girl, Megan Levy, who used to do drugs, and after her best friend died of drugs, she couldn't come out for a long time, until she decided to join the military. After some twists and turns, she became a Marine Corps corporal and took her military dog, Max, to the battlefields of Afghanistan. At first, Levy was very afraid of Max, but she treated him with sincerity and finally not only tamed Max, but also established a relationship with Max, like family, taking care of each other. On the battlefields of Afghanistan, Max made many achievements, smelled arms and landmines again and again, and saved countless lives. During a mission, Levy accidentally missed the retreating car, Max jumped out of the car at the cost of his own life and went to her. Levy also had to return to the United States early because of his injury, leaving Max to continue fighting with other comrades. Levy was so reluctant that he couldn't stop crying and didn't dare to look at Max again, but Max kept calling towards the rising helicopter and followed him all the way. The scene was extremely touching.
Levy received post-traumatic treatment after returning to China, but she always thought about Max and kept inquiring about Max's whereabouts. When she saw Max again, she decided to adopt Max, who was about to retire. However, Max is a military dog and has been traumatized in the battlefield. After the military evaluation, Max was deemed unfit for adoption and needed to remain in the military until euthanasia.
A year later, Levy decided to give her one last shot. She went to senators, did interviews on TV, collected autographs on the street, and in short, exhausted all the means to help her adopt Max. Finally, the emperor paid off. On the day of Max's honorable retirement, she got his wish to adopt Max and bring him home. Since then, she has lived happily with her Max.
