The pattern of this movie is very interesting. When the heroine returns from the battlefield, it is less than half of the movie, but Rex has changed from a biting bulldog to a docile, well-trained, and human-oriented battlefield hero. The dog jumped out of the car desperately from the hail of bullets to protect the owner, which also marked Rex's transformation and growth.

After returning to China, although the heroine believed that Rex's PTSD symptoms would not hurt others, she wanted to try to adopt him, but because of the lack of characterization in this part, the second half of the movie became slightly pale and inexplicable. Because she failed to keep Rex, the heroine fell into a situation of remorse and escapism like the beginning of the movie, but it was her father's words that cheered her up. The climax of the entire movie is Megan's rise to power to overthrow the veterinary tyranny. So we take it for granted, what about dogs?

Come to think of it, the movie was originally titled Megan Leavey, not Megan & Rex - it's a story about growing up (and love (laughs)). Friends who complain about the lack of interaction between humans and dogs should go to see Max, the military dog, which also happens to be a story about PTSD military dogs. In my impression, there should be plenty of dog scenes... But I personally feel that the adaptation of real themes is a constraint on the play of the plot. It's too big, so after watching it, you will feel unfulfilled.

ps. Kate's acting skills are actually quite good, but when the dog reunites with its owner, the overly bland reaction makes people laugh and laugh. pps. The heroine's abdominal muscles prpr ppps. The ears of the German shepherd actor are so soft! ! Want to knead it! ! 5 stars for the dog!
