Last year, my friends recommended me to watch this film. It won the European Film and the Best Animation at the Cesar Awards, was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and Oscar for Best Animation, and was co-produced by France and Switzerland. Finally, I just stole the air and watched her. This is a very simple story that tells the journey of a group of children who were exposed to domestic violence when they were adopted into a kindergarten. I really like the director's non-sensational approach, especially when he looks at the world of adults from the perspective of a child, and uses his own way to understand why he was sent to a nursery, which is very real and powerful. I prefer their use of clay-based stop motion, and I love the director's handling of lighting, set design, and color, almost to the level of a real movie. (Is it because I watched the 4K version~ hehe) The whole film is only 65 minutes long, but she is a warm and funny film that will make you cry after watching it. It is also a pure and simple work, but it is a good work that most accuses children of social problems, and it is worth watching.
