The reason why I was attracted to this drama is because the protagonist is really non-mainstream.
Their lives were miserable. One is a rotten country third-rate non-best-selling author. After being rejected by his ex-girlfriend, he has been dating and not letting his girlfriend sleep in his house. Now he is invited to his ex-girlfriend's wedding; the other is hiding from his parents. A public relations lady who lives a slutty life with diaosi, is also a wonderful woman who does not let go of her aunt's day. Two people who are both afraid of being hurt by love, after meeting at the wedding, after a one-night stand and mutual confession, from disgusting each other, keeping a distance, not daring to approach, to step by step towards being together. Two wonderful flowers, accusing each other of being the worst, but because of this, they like people who are as bad as themselves. They have a common language and can be frank with each other, without hypocrisy or concealment. These two people are not the protagonists in the traditional sense, and they are not even as positive as the supporting roles. They take drugs and drunkenness, and regard gun dating as a pastime, but they are afraid of emotional entanglement, and they are full of foul language and never forgive others. Need to be loved, just afraid of being hurt.
Perhaps it is because they are not perfect, but they are brave and honest enough to face their spicy chicken lives, which just hits most of us who are not so happy in reality - ordinary people.
Most of us are ordinary, we don't have outstanding talents, we don't have high pursuits, we have shortcomings, we are often disliked, we sometimes give up on ourselves, sometimes we hurt people, sometimes we don't want to start a new relationship, sometimes we really need to. To be understood, one really needs to be loved.
Love, what an elusive thing it is. You have imagined the fate of the person a thousand times in your mind, but in the end you fall in love with a person who can't be beaten.
