Umbrella can not cover the sadness

Now, it seems that the plot is a little too plain. The seventeen-year-old girl fell in love, so pure and beautiful, she said sweet love words, and vowed to marry her lover. But again it was the war that broke everything. The boy has to leave. The tune they sang when they parted was heartbreaking.

The girl insisted on waiting, but in the face of the reality and the seemingly unreachable thoughts, she finally gave in and married a wealthy jeweler. The boy returned, heartbroken, went to the tavern, and saw that the wooden chair that once sat on the date with the girl was now empty. He almost lost the will to live.

It was snowing heavily, and when they met again, they were already married. Are you happy now? Yes, I am very happy with a wife and children.

The whole film is set in bright colors, but it tells the story of a failed first love. Perhaps, it is those bright colors that bring out the sadness of the characters' loss. At the beginning, under the overhead shot, raindrops fell, and people hurried past with umbrellas of various colors, accompanied by the sad song, and the black umbrella at the end, which seemed to herald the end of separation.

No matter how beautiful the umbrella is, it can't resist the invasion of the rainstorm after all. Under the umbrella of Cherbourg, it may be covered with sadness and loss that everyone can't avoid!

All the lines sung are also a major feature of the film.

This movie is stupid, undisputedly the stupidest Palme d'Or in history; the characters don't talk like they sing, they sing like they talk; Deneuve's close-up is as unwatchable as Hepburn, too ugly.

The French song and dance version of Yan Nanfei, Jacques Demi's helpless sighs and poignant singing, the young Deneuve is really the number one beauty, and the reunion at the end, fixed everything in the winter when love became the past.
