No doubt it was a bad movie, but it managed to plant a sense of fear in my heart.
The heroine refuses pork at dinner one day, and then she is sent to the Inquisition, they think she is a heretic, they torture her, deny it is useless, and she is sent to prison. There is no transition in the scene where she is tortured. One second she was a rich lady, and the next second she took off her clothes and hung it up. It really scared me.
Because I basically don't eat pork myself, after watching this movie, I think from time to time: If one day I have to eat pork to prove myself, or get arrested for not eating pork, how terrible it would be.
I am a picky eater, and I am not picky about quality, but I do not eat several kinds of food, but neither lamb nor coriander is given an important meaning like pork.
