After watching the talent in the past two days, there is one thing that I have been asking myself.
If there were mutants in reality, which side would I be on?
Is it on the side of mutants, or on the side of humans who have nothing to do with them?
At first, I always felt that of course I did not approve of the extermination of mutants by human society, so I advocated giving them the same rights and freedom.
But then I kept thinking, kept thinking, and began to waver.
Because if I, as a human, are weak and helpless, and mutants have all kinds of talents, if I meet in life, natural human beings will have an absolute disadvantage.
And if there are good mutants in the world, there are also bad ones.
As an ordinary chicken, I have no resistance to mutants.
Of course, the police may have many ways to suppress.
But I didn't.
If he has any bad thoughts, it will be fatal to me.
It's fine for me, but what about the person I love?
Like Agent Turner's poor and innocent seven-year-old daughter.
Obviously no one wanted to hurt her intentionally, but because she was weak, but because she didn't have the ability to protect herself, she ruined her life.
We always say that the intention to harm others is indispensable, and the intention to guard against others is indispensable.
But how to prevent it?
Probably just far away, the farther away the better.
If you are far away, you will naturally have no feelings.
Therefore, I feel that I can turn a blind eye to some clearly unfair behaviors.
We seek something called security, which is shaken by the presence of mutants.
Just like the protagonist Reed's family in the play, when they didn't know they were a family of mutants, the wife watched the news about mutants while living her normal life, watering the flowers, going to work, weeding , the years are quiet.
Reed even works by sending mutants to prison for various crimes.
Didn't he know that some mutants were actually innocent? Of course he knew, he knew better than anyone else.
However, on the one hand, he has to rely on this to make money and support his family. On the other hand, what does it have to do with him putting more mutants in prison? For him, even putting all the mutants in jail is the safest thing to do.
And when did he change his stance?
It was after learning that their two children were mutants, and after they had to start a life on the run, that they sided with the mutants.
I want to fight for the rights of mutants, and I want to find a better living environment for mutants.
So, sometimes, I think, there is no right or wrong. Humans have the instinct to protect themselves from danger.
Maybe they are not malicious, but they are always more dangerous around them.
Now there is a term called opportunistic crime, which means that it is not intentional, but the circumstances at the time led to it.
A mutant is equivalent to a ticking time bomb, not necessarily exploding, but scary.
Of course, this is extremely unfair to mutants, it's just that you have more talent than you, why should you be treated so unfairly?
Moreover, there are many good people among the mutants. Killing them is just hurting the hearts of good mutants. For bad mutants, they are eager to see humans on the battlefield.
If I were a mutant, maybe I would have been on the mutant underground team at first. However, after a long time, when in order to adhere to the so-called principle and fight against human beings with hands and feet, but instead harm the people I love, I will inevitably reflect on whether it is worth doing so.
Because it is clear that human beings do not care about my insistence.
When I stand in different teams and think, I see two aspects of a thing that are different.
In the end, I didn't even know which team I would be on.
Probably, where the person I love is, I will be there.
