This isn't a movie review, it's an afterthought
It's a relatively good science fiction novel. The low-budget production mainly relies on the story to attract people. In fact, the theme of this film is the harmonious development of man and nature.
There is a fountain of youth set up in the movie, which I personally think can be understood as a resource. This resource can keep life going. But this Fountain of Youth is in a cave, and the time in the cave is different from the outside world. The so-called "one year in the sky, one day on the ground" feeling. And in the cave, the closer you get to the Fountain of Youth, the slower time passes. So near the Fountain of Youth, the audience will see people from all eras coming and fighting for the Fountain of Youth, but they are all still from the other time ring, because the time ring they are in is slower.
The characters and progression of the story are not described here. After the movie, I borrowed Hawking's words and clicked on the theme. The general meaning is that, based on the ability of human beings to consume (waste) resources and destroy the environment in this way, human beings can no longer exist on the earth for 1,000 years. If the load that the earth can bear reaches a critical point, human technology is still unable to enable human beings to migrate to the planet, then it can only say goodbye.
However, the development of science and technology may not be carried out according to the human imagination, so on the one hand, we must speed up the development of science and technology, and on the other hand, we must control the consumption of resources, so as to buy more time for human beings to develop science and technology. Because sooner or later the earth will no longer be suitable for human habitation due to internal or external reasons, so this is the dilemma that human beings must face.
Needless to say, with the development of science and technology, there must be some effort. But to buy more time, this requires human beings to reach an cognitive consensus. We waste resources and pollute the environment, which has little impact on ourselves, but the superposition of generations will have a great impact on the final and future human beings.
But can this consensus be reached? ? Let's use less air conditioning, okay? ? This issue has been discussed before, and I will not repeat it here. I am actually quite pessimistic.
