In life, people lose the ability to question. The older we grow, the more we stop thinking, because the rules of right and wrong have been passively put into our cognition. We are thinking in a way that we was told. Not only orientation, but also aesthetics, character, and even values and worldviews have been set up with rules early on without knowing it. This is an extremely scary thing.
The doctor's remark in the play is particularly impressive, which happens to be the attitude we should have towards 'other people' lifestyles: It is not my place to tell you that your parents are wrong. Whatever happens next, it is still your choice. It may not feel that way, but it is. And my mother's attitude is also the respect and love that I think parents should have for their children: I love my son. Simple like that. What parents should do most is to listen to and believe in their children, Instead of imposing rules on your children that you think are right. To me, as an independent individual, we should have a minimum respect for the way of life of others; in the same way, we should bravely defend our rights and freedoms without harming others. After all, it is enough for a person to respect others and stick to himself.
As for the film itself, I deeply feel that just by conveying diverse values to the society is a very respectable work.
