Tale of greed

The story is relatively simple, but some of the settings in the film are very interesting.

1. Rainy Tabad. Originally, Hastur was sealed in Tabad by the Goddess of Prosperity. However, after the Tabad villagers discovered the secret, they tried their best to steal the gold coins from Hastur, so they angered the gods, and Tabad never saw the sun.

2. Hastur's story. The greedy Hastur was the favorite child of the Goddess of Prosperity, but was sealed and cut off because of his greed. Because of his failure to steal the infinite food bag of the Goddess of Prosperity, he is afraid and loves the flour that symbolizes food. The flour ring keeps him inaccessible, but the flour man tribute also attracts him to nibble.

3. After a person has been bitten by Hastur and mutated, the sentence "Sleep, or Hastur will come to you" can make him fall asleep. This setting is a bit like what parents say when they scare children, "Be obedient, or the big bad wolf will take you away".

4. The basement turned out to be the womb of the goddess. Although it had walls and floors, it was a terrifying blood-red color everywhere, and some liquid would be secreted. The walls also vibrate regularly like a pulse.

5. Grandma Zeng actually grew a tree on her body. And the heart is still beating in the messy branches.

6. The person bitten by Hastur did not die instantly. but to gain eternal life, but in perpetual hunger. It seems that a painful existence is a more terrible thing than death.
