A good movie usually has a philosophical core, and the philosophical core of this movie is – to live in a lie, to maintain the status quo of existence, to remain ignorant, or to choose to know the truth, even though the truth behind it is destruction or genocide.
The saying that ignorance is a blessing has always been true. When a person knows some truth, it is very difficult to go back and pretend to be stupid. At the same time, people who only know some truth are suffering, and only after the accumulation of knowledge or truth reaches a certain level can they see happiness. Ignorance people see the illusion created by the world for them; those who know part of the truth see the darkness of the world; only those who know enough of the truth see beauty. But this last type of people should be very few, and most people are still struggling in the dark night, pursuing a beautiful hope.
So should we tear open the truth for those who live in false beauty, or let them enjoy life in foolish lies?
In addition, there are several things that can be said to have been said badly from the movie.
1 Humans are always afraid of the unknown, and to a certain extent have persecutory paranoia.
2 There is actually no distinction between races and races, it is nothing more than advanced technology or not. If communication is not possible, then the first rule is that the races with high technology usually tend to eliminate the races with lower technology, thus giving birth to the first. Three.
3 Good communication is very important.
4 Curiosity killed the yak. (This phrase appears in the movie)
In fact, it is also obvious at the end of the film that most human beings are not ready to accept the unknown (reasonable people also know this), and the school and greed of human beings will make us do everything possible to squeeze the last drop of the unknown. Exploit value (as for the damage to it is never considered). A person may still have reason and conscience, but a group of people may not. This is a bit far, but popular psychology definitely makes sense~
Finally, although this movie is just a cartoon, the truth contained in it is still worth thinking about~ Maybe I think too much, but it’s better to get something after watching the movie than to have an empty mind~
