In 2017, two horror films also named "Escape Room" were released. As the only film review under this entry said before, this film is a version of the five-person secret room escape, not a version of the magic box zombie secret room killing. Because this version does not have Chinese subtitles, it is estimated that many Soybean Oils gave low marks to this item after watching the Magic Box version with Chinese subtitles.
I haven't watched the magic box version yet, and it seems that there are a lot of bad reviews. However, according to the overall taste of soybean oil for horror films, I am afraid that even if they watch the breakthrough version, they will not score too high.
This is a similar story to Chainsaw, but the integrity of the story needs to be improved. Logic flaws, far-fetched puzzle solving, hurried background explanations, and passing of character relationships... These are the obvious problems of this film. However, the atmosphere of the work can be created, and the rhythm is also lively. When I personally watch it, I can still immerse myself in the story, and I don't feel like I'm on pins and needles when I watch some low-quality horror movies.

The film doesn't seem to have Chinese subtitles yet. English subtitles are easier to find. Interested friends may not be too disappointed with this work if they watch the movie with lower expectations.

The magic box version of the story and the bridges are flat, but the biggest highlight is the lines of the two protagonists discussing horror film culture. It can be seen that the main creator is indeed a bit of research on horror films. But I don't think Magic Box is a bad movie either.
