The slums and Disneyland are separated by a wall, but they are two completely different worlds. Not to comment on right or wrong, because none of us have lived through Harley's past and can't point to a better way out. The world is never black and white. From different angles, the results you see will not be the same.
Thinking of the Moments posted by classmates before, it probably means to question why parents who have no money have children since they can't give their children a good material life. When I saw it at the time, I didn't feel much, just glanced at it. After watching Florida Paradise, I somehow remembered the question of that classmate.
Harley is an unconditional mother, and her choice to have Mooney was a beautiful mistake, even if she called it a mistake. Although she can't give her children a comfortable home and a secure future, she always takes Money to buy small gifts and eat big meals when she has money. Harley did her best. I'm not saying how successful a mother Harley was or how correct she was about educating Money. The fact that Money's best friend Scott no longer plays with her is enough to show that there is indeed a problem with their worldview.
No one has the right to accuse them of anything, Disney is your paradise, motel is her paradise, but maybe there is no paradise in Florida, not even in the world.
