for freedom

Spielberg's "Munich" shows Israel's assassination operations from the perspective of Israeli agents. This film shows their lives and choices from the perspective of a Palestinian youth. A huge asymmetry can be seen in the comparison of the two films:

The Israeli agents have a complete team, many of whom are technical talents of various professions. There is enough cash in the Swiss bank account. The powerful Israeli forces are their backing. When the operation is difficult, the advanced military forces can help them at any time. , and the favorable situation in which the war of public opinion is in their favor.

The Palestinian youth and their planners and organizers hid in the basement that was bombed to rubble, and kept a high degree of vigilance when they went out, because there may be bullets or missiles from Israel at any time. The weapons these youths have seemed to be only their bodies, and suicide attacks were their only option. When the operation is successful, the assassination target of Israeli agents disappears unknowingly, and every suicide attack on the Pakistani side is always attacked by the definition of terrorism in the biased media. Therefore, they are not only facing the military attack from the side, but also the accusation and incomprehension of the world public opinion guided by the media.

Although the actors on both sides of Palestine and Israel have such a big gap, the director depicts their hesitation and thinking when facing this kind of task. Said's father died as a martyr when he was ten years old, and so did the parents of his friends. They lived in refugee camps since they were children, and life did not give them the right to choose. Like them, everyone was treated unfairly since childhood. A refugee camp child who grows up as a potential jihadist. Of course, they will also be suspicious of such suicide attacks, and they will think: Is there a better way? His partner gave up the operation after being persuaded by a girl from a better environment. And after a painful thought, Said still resolutely got on the bus with the soldiers. At the end of the film, his eyes were very firm, and under the closer and closer camera, it was unfathomable, just like him The effect of this operation was the same, and the partner asked him: What will our operation do? In fact, Said also knows that their actions have little effect, but he can only achieve this step. "It is better to die with a dream of heaven than to live in a real hell." Perhaps, he finally Resolutely choose to complete the mission, just to escape the unfair and humiliating reality that he has lived in since he was a child? May he enter the heaven of the afterlife, just like his father.

After painful thinking, the agent chose to give up. Of course, this ending arrangement cannot hide the reason for the assassination set at the beginning of the film, as the critics said, that the Palestinian side took and killed the hostages. It should be earlier, that is, the sudden appearance of Israel and the Large numbers of Palestinians became refugees and, like Said, grew up in refugee camps. In addition, in the film, the agent finally gave up, and he also had concerns about the safety of his family. He found himself trapped in a complex network. He was both a hunter and unknowingly became the prey of others. In order to protect the safety of his family, he chose to quit.

Of course, when the agent opts out, he can go back to his sweet wife and son and live his sweet life, but what about Said? "I don't want to go back to the concentration camp again", this is his oath, this huge contrast in real life is also an important reason why they made the opposite decision after thinking hard.

Both films are excellent works. Compared with the simple definition of attackers in the media, they both depict the complex heart of every attacker. In fact, they are just like you and me. They all long for a safe environment and want to have A happy family.

Life is sincere and precious, and love is more expensive. If it is freedom, both can be thrown away.
