Reality in troubled times

"In our hometown, people are the most priceless treasures,

It makes more sense to speak than to raise the volume;

After all, it is rain that nourishes flower growth, not thunder. "

I have recently read some books and movies about the war in Afghanistan under the Taliban rule. We, who are living in peacetime, cannot feel the wars that are taking place on the other side of the world. In the midst of coming and going, what supports them is the affection between ordinary people and the tenacity of the nation.

Compared with the impeccable and beautiful life depicted in "Dream Hunter", perhaps the troubled times in "The Breadwinner" are more realistic.

    It's heavy and can't bear to look directly, but it's full of power... There are always difficulties in life that are beyond imagination. This is where family and friendship are even more precious. They are the pillar of survival and the only kind of tenderness... There is no ending. Set up a big reunion but two small reunions, calm and restrained, it doesn't matter whether you deliberately avoid stereotypes, because in such a world what will happen next second is completely unknown, I hope this family can finally reunite...

    The degeneration of a country begins with men, and the revival of a country begins with women.

The Breadwinner quotes

    Parvana: It means fire.

    Shauzia: I know what it means, but it's still not a name.

    Parvana: Then it suits me fine.

  • Shauzia: When you're a boy, you can go anywhere you like.
