At the beginning of the blackened Disney, I knew that a good movie was coming, and the creator of this Gothic fairy tale would shine in black again.
The people in his films are still so ignorant and sad. Twenty years ago, the reborn robot dog turned the town upside down. Twenty years later, people's fear of the unknown has not subsided, and people are still so good at misinterpreting possibilities.
And the protagonists in his films are always like his miniatures, mildly autistic but smart, never letting go of the strange wonders of this world, always throbbing and beating for beauty.
I think a good movie can show a landscape no matter what angle it is viewed from, and this movie seems to be bottomless no matter what angle it is viewed from. The black and colorful, the shabby fairy tale train and dirty big yellow duck in Batman, the rock and roll skeleton in Zombie Bride, these are all vivid in my mind, once built a black world, but the colors are dazzling.
Look, aren't you coming back now? Turtle Godzilla, Batcat, Alien Mouse, but to be honest, how should parents explain it to children?
Under the pressure of Disney, the director with a dirty image came to a Happy Ending. I personally think it was his good wishes for the world, maybe a little compromise, but he always wanted to use darkness to set off the beauty of the world, didn't he?
There is a hint of sarcasm in this movie. In another 20 years, can we be less afraid of the unknown, no longer so good at distorting the possibility, but good at creating the possibility, swimming around like a big fish Go, at least make the kids like, okay?
