Do not disturb is my last tenderness

In order to express sincerity, I specially wrote this film review with a computer in my arms.

Chatting with my colleagues, I mentioned this movie by chance. Although this type has always been a genre that I directly ignored, but after looking at the cast, there are Fa Shark and Maggie Gyllenhaal, which is a bit interesting, especially the little one on the poster. The cute big head is very touching! Then check it out!

"Not disturbing is my last tenderness", just suddenly, I feel that it suits the final mood of the male protagonist. Small staff, a little hobby, a little dream, trapped in reality, want to struggle, want to shout, want to escape. Just then, by chance, I met a bunch of weirdos. These geeks have talents they never dared to hope for, how could they pass up such an opportunity? Do everything possible to integrate into this group, hope to be affirmed, hope to get a place. In the end, the opportunity finally came, but it was also thrown into a pulp.

After the male protagonist met Frank, this wonderful journey was actually the choice of many ordinary people, especially in the workplace. Any professional who is unwilling to the status quo, how can he easily let go when he encounters a boss who can be approached and who is quite sure of himself. Be sure to perform well! Continuing to show your achievements (the hero keeps writing songs to Frank); the rest of you know what to do (the tension between the hero and Claire intensifies); the big effort to gain the central position (the rent is paid with the grandfather's estate); ambition Gradually exposed (persuading everyone to go to the music festival); seemingly using the team for the sake of the team (only the male protagonist and Frank insisted on going on stage)... After the failure of the show, looking for Frank and the band, still do not want to give up their ambitions, maybe until the end , Frank's mother said: mental illness didn't give him talent, it just dragged him down. Only then did the male protagonist truly realize that his investment had completely failed.

For Frank, the experience was really nothing, the only thing that changed was that he no longer needed that huge headgear. The male protagonist's understanding and performance of music sounded crude and shallow to Frank, and the male protagonist's departure was just a need to find another keyboard player.

But what Frank didn't realize was that the male lead was pretty close to destroying himself, and the whole, uh, I've forgotten name of this eccentric band.

"Do not disturb is my last tenderness", let Frank's group return to their own music world, the male protagonist chooses to silently withdraw from the absolute field that he can never own and understand, which is also the best choice.

This movie, if I really say it, can only give two points, one point for the plot, one point for those cold jokes, but because of you, I can give one more point.

I've never liked death, psychedelics, heavy metal, all kinds of rock and roll that can't be named, especially the weird, shinto-shinto things in this film are completely noise to me. But music is not actually the core of the film, it is just a good carrier to convey the story connotation of the film itself.

After watching it for a long time, I realized that the headgear was the Fa Shark, and it was a neurotic and cute performance. Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance is still quite "bold", more inclined to madness, but also makes people feel vulnerable.

The male protagonist's ambition was not achieved, but he attacked again in 2015 and led the First Order Corps to fight against the rebellious forces of the Republic, but he was still pressed to the ground and rubbed. However, in terms of the male protagonist's appearance, acting skills, and the weight of his works, it should not be underestimated in time~

Frank quotes

  • Jon Burroughs: Miserable childhood. Mental illness. Where do I find that kind of inspiration?

  • Frank: I've always dreamed of one day having a band member who shared my vision of creating extremely likable music. So, thank you, Jon. You gave me the little push I needed.
