If fate could choose

"ELLE" (ELLE), directed by Van Hoeven and starring Aunt Huppert, is a very shocking movie. I haven't seen a French movie for a long time. This movie arouses my impression of French movies, especially those of Ou Rong. movie . In a nutshell: Advanced. French life is high class. All the absurdities are so natural, casual, and free to French speakers. It seems so bad to others, but it is so tolerant and compassionate when you think about it carefully.

If fate can choose, however, fate cannot choose, so, I hope that in the face of unchangeable fate, everyone can be like Sisyphus, and everyone can become a very strong and independent individual. Of course, even so, the tragedy will not be reduced, but such a world will be a little better.

What is an unalterable destiny? Sisyphus pushing the stone is easy for everyone to understand: hard work, but useless. But in fact, there are many such situations in real life, and everyone who is still at work should have a deep understanding. Also, for example: you like someone very much but they don't like you; when you are in love, you are very devoted, but you don't feel it when you live.

I hope that all breakups are just because there is no feeling of love, no one is heartbroken and reluctant to part, and they are friends after breaking up, and they can still be vigorous when they invest in new feelings. Then lovelorn and divorce have largely become less ugly, and can even be beautiful. But people are born without these abilities. To reach this realm requires a lot of karma, a lot of hard work, and a congenital and acquired environment. Personal struggle is important, but the choice of history is also indispensable. I want to say that from the point of view of the film, as a Frenchman, the chances are much higher.

"ELLE" is such a story: a little girl, when she was ten years old, her father suddenly killed a child in a street like crazy, and when she got home, she set the house on fire. What can she do when she is only ten years old? Help dad burn something. Of course, the police caught her father, the pervert, and took a close-up of her helping him burn things. From the age of ten, what else can one expect from such a life?

But when she is middle-aged, she is a very successful entrepreneur, and milfs, her charm is undiminished. Not only that, in this film, she has a charm to everyone around her, which is fascinating, and everything she does - including sleeping with her best friend and partner husband, pointing to her son (and daughter-in-law) He sneered and scolded his mother to death, and scared his father who had been in prison for more than 30 years without giving up his bail.

How did she do it? Many people are speechless about this story. But it makes perfect sense to me, just because she's in France and she's so candid. From beginning to end, she has only one weapon: sincerity. Is not it?

Her 80-year-old AIDS carrier mother asked her: What would you think if I married this handsome guy (fitness trainer Little Wolf Dog).

She replied: I will kill you.

Old mother: I'm serious

Her: I'm serious too, I'll kill you right away.

After she slept with her best friend's husband, she didn't feel any more (because a younger and stronger banking upstart expressed ambiguity), kicked it away and confessed to her best friend at the company's new product launch conference. The girlfriend was speechless in shock and asked her: Why? Where did you see him?

She: Hey, no reason, just thinking about it at the time, he just fell asleep when he wanted to. It didn't take long, just half a year, and now I feel nothing.

Not to mention her mockery of her son and daughter-in-law (a literary bitch), it can be said that she really did not pick it up by herself.

I understand that is sincerity. She really faced herself and life sincerely, otherwise, she would have gone crazy long ago. Just because of her father's hearing for medical parole, someone poured things on her in the restaurant, and this incident hung over their district like a lingering shadow, over her, for more than 30 years, she I don't want to see the police, I don't want to see the media. These idle writing may seem unintentional, but if you think about it carefully, it is actually how serious the mass media's destruction of a victim is. It also explains why she has such a fierce life. (Hong Kong translation: The true character of a strong woman. It's too off-topic)

Except for Huppert, I can't think of how other actresses would interpret this role. The whole movie revolves around her and the people around her. From the beginning to the end, I think the plot is very reasonable and very homely. For example, she found My ex-husband had a new love, so I went to see it. When I saw it, she was a young, beautiful, and skilled girl who taught hot yoga. I felt very uncomfortable, so I deliberately put it in the yoga teacher's salmon roll when I invited people home for dinner. Put more toothpicks - then you'll think she's a little girl too. Later, her ex-husband broke up with his little girlfriend. The reason is: she is not as profound as you.

There are a lot of very interesting details in the movie (for example, helping my best friend's husband to jerk off in the office), and I won't write them down one by one about the episode of SM's neighbor. All in all, it's a very interesting movie, and it's also very thought-provoking. She told us: Life is full of wind and rain, choose what you like and go on bravely, and everyone will change from blocking you and laughing at you to involuntarily cooperating with you.

Michèle Leblanc: Trouble is, he's dating a psycho... The wacko won't tolerate struggling.

Richard: Psycho's the word. Often though, that kind of woman is good in bed.

Michèle Leblanc: What does that mean, "good in bed"? I never knew.

  • Michèle Leblanc: Richard, would you say I'm tight for a woman my age?
