It's a real fantasy
Simon's mother told him: What I want to see is the original you.
Simon's father said: You are still my pride.
How many times have I longed to open my mouth but dared not tell the secret, which was watched by countless eyes and swallowed back to the bottom of my heart.
And in the movie, it's all so beautiful.
I remember one time when I was hesitant to say anything and the tears rolled. But the words never came out. I looked up at my parents and they glared at me. Thinking of my dad's remarks about the attitude of the gay community a few years ago, I slammed it back into my stomach.
The act of "coming out" seems to have become a fear and taboo in our world.
So while watching the movie, I laughed along with Simon, but when I laughed, I was already in tears.
Like all of us, he lived the life of a high school student. He had his confusion, his helplessness, and after being forced to come out, he was overwhelmed and sad.
But his parents, even in tears, still said that we would love you unreservedly, and his friends were not alienated because of his identity. Even if it is a conflict, it is perfectly resolved after his self-identification.
This is my unreachable dream, even if his presentation is so real.
I'm not as brave as Simon, and even this film review has to send two versions to two groups in my circle of friends. My secret is always deep in my heart.
Sitting next to me while watching the movie, was a Miss Les, and we smiled at each other with tears on our faces halfway through. At the end of the film, we did not leave like everyone else, and we exchanged our feelings with each other. She said to me: It may be difficult, but when you get through it, it is a beautiful thing.
Yeah, I think one day my parents can tell me that they still love me as unreservedly as before, and I can kiss my loved ones in the sun, like thousands of couples, get Blessings, not amazed glances.
At the end of the movie, Simon finally found his Mr. Blue, and that dream was a happy ending after all.
And the story itself is so simple.
After watching the movie, I was a little apprehensive in the Melbourne wind. Looking up, I saw a lot of stars, and the world suddenly became quiet.
When can I be brave?
It's a scary thing to announce to the world who you are, and the world, after all, probably doesn't like who you are.
However, everyone deserves to have a perfect love story.
