Just recently completed the well-received American drama "FEUD Enemy", and the acting skills of the two heroines are very enjoyable. But as a fan of the films of that era and a loyal fan of Bette Davis, I am still unhappy about a few mistakes in the film or deliberate misdirections due to the need for dramatic conflict:
1. Although the director of "TROG", which Joan took at the low point of his later years in the play, was Freddie Francis, an old acquaintance of the Hammer company, this film was not produced by the Hammer company (the Chinese subtitle group was wrong), and in fact, Bette was in Joan's early days. In 2008, he made a pure Hammer movie ("THE NANNY" in 1965 and "THE ANNIVERSARY" in 1968), and in the end, although Jack Warner was described as extremely utilitarian and cold-blooded in the play, the fact is that the American and British theaters of "TROG" The online distribution is still in charge of Warner, and the first week of the US box office is a big hit. So in fact, "TROG" and the situation at the time may not be as bad as portrayed in the play.
2. In the play, Dean Martin, who played Vincent Price at the conference, only explained a small part of my speech at the time, and added a narration that Bette regretted being on the show, but the actual situation on the scene was What kind of people can go to B station to search. It is unbearable to portray Vincent Price, the famously scary gentleman, as such a clown.
Finally posted a tombstone of Bette Davis from a visit a few years back to the Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, where Charles Laughton and Lee VanCleef are also nearby.
