choose

I ate dinner yesterday and watched this movie in my spare time. The male pig foot made a mistake in a car accident and caused the death of a friend. He was imprisoned. In the beginning, he wanted to protect himself and hoped to go to prison, but in the end he had to follow him to the end, and he was forced to live in a gang after he was released from prison. Happy family, beautiful wife and lovely son, had to let go. In the end, using his wisdom, he was successfully imprisoned and gained the status of the gang boss.
Involuntarily, I was thinking, if it were me, would I do the same thing as the male protagonist in order to adapt to life in prison. Still living in prison, being slaughtered by others, waiting for the day to be released from prison. If you go on stealing your life, will you not survive the day you get out of prison at all?
If life outside the prison is likened to a normal living environment, life inside the prison is likened to an abnormal living environment. Substituting into everyone's living environment, what choices will each of us make when encountering an abnormal environment? Going against your own creed and adapting to this environment, or what kind of situation.
So for us personally, the best choice is to avoid ourselves from entering such an environment. Once we enter, we must ask ourselves whether we can bear the consequences of the choices we make.
I think of a sentence "The key to a person's life is just a few steps. If you walk right, life is wide everywhere".

Shot Caller quotes

  • Bottles: The fact is, we all started out as someone's little angel. And a place like this forces us to become warriors or victims. Nothing in between can exist here.

  • The Beast: These cops think the more they lock us down and isolate us it strips us from our power, they even think we are a dying breed, they're dead fucking wrong.
