Armed with sharp weapons, kill your heart!

Armed with sharp weapons, kill your heart! This is my first impression after watching it. The prism is a weapon, and the U.S. government has this weapon! Even if the original intention of its research and development is to counter terrorism, when its use is not supervised, the government will unconsciously use it for personal gain, monitoring Chinese people, and violating civil rights in order to achieve the purpose of consolidating rule. Even the US government advertised as democracy and freedom is no exception! So don't trust any promises without oversight, don't trust any propaganda without accountability...

Is Snowden a traitor or a hero? Do we want to be safe or free? What is the difference between security without freedom and animals in a zoo? Prism can be an anti-terrorism weapon or a barrier to freedom. The key depends on whether its users are under the supervision and accountability of the people!

Snowden quotes

  • Edward Snowden: So, you're, um, an engineer?

Hank Forrester: Am I an engineer? Instructor and counselor, too. I'm supposed to keep an eye on you CTs, make sure you don't buckle under the pressure. Turn to drugs and booze.

Edward Snowden: Well, you won't have that problem with me. I don't drink or do drugs.

Hank Forrester: What is your sin of choice?

    Edward Snowden: Uh, computers.

Hank Forrester: Well, then, Snowden, you've come to the right little whorehouse.

  • Corbin O'Brian: [to Snowden] In 20 years, Iraq will be a hellhole nobody cares about. Terrorism's a short-term threat. The real threats will come from China, Russia, Iran. and they'll come as SQL injections and malware. Without minds like yours, this country will be torn apart in cyberspace.
