A humorous and humorous lawsuit movie. As a post-90s generation, I have been accustomed to watching TV dramas from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and ancient costume detective dramas from mainland China. Therefore, I am not particularly new to the traditional artistic techniques of this film. However, given that the film was shot in the 1950s, it is indeed shocking enough to master these artistic techniques in that era, but if this film appeared in the world today, I am afraid it would not be so popular. I don't know if you have seen "Christmas Rose" starring Gui Lunmei/Xia Yu. This movie has borrowed some narrative techniques and even lines from "Witness for the Prosecution".
