As said in the hot review, it's really hard for me to evaluate Depp's films. In my eyes, the whole movie focuses on Depp alone, beautiful and sexy and goth melancholic. Temperament, let alone other actors, can't even hold back the plot. However, Depp's role in this movie is rarely normal, and only beauty is normal. The wall under the bridge is so heartwarming, the uncle kiss scene is really unique, but it's quite rare. The heroine's line "I really want to take you to see the little village where I was born, it's so cute. I used to think it was too small to stay there forever, but now I don't think so" is a fresh confession piece~
Jack the Ripper is a rotten joke, and there is nothing that makes me feel novel. The atmosphere and costumes are well created, and the rhythm is a bit slow, but watching Uncle Pu's face is not boring at all!
I still like Depp's neurotic character... The cute little detective in Sleepy Hollow is not bad~ I don't know if I will see Puzi and Tim Burton working together in my lifetime...
