The film restricts all the scenes of the story to a coffee house. The development of the plot relies on the dialogue of the characters to advance, and the closed space and multiple story lines overlap each other. The film shows several different groups of seekers, including blind people who hope to regain their sight, believers who hope to regain the inspiration of God, wives who long for the resurrection of their wives, and beauty seekers who are extremely inferior. And the way to realize a wish is to exchange a huge price for another huge price.
The narrative method of the film is unconventional, confined space, the beginning, development, connection and conflict of the plot all rely on the conversation between the male protagonist and different seekers. The love between the male protagonist and the female clerk interspersed during the period became a hidden thread for the male protagonist to give up the title of God at the end.
The director deliberately tries to discuss the fate and gain and loss of human nature. There are gains and losses. People are tricked by fate like ants, and everything cannot escape cause and effect, but the audio-visual expression is not very accurate.
The interpretation of the male protagonist's personal identity and the way he realizes his wishes are deliberately blurred and not expressed. The actor's performance is more natural but not bright.
