The film is a remake of the 1992 film of the same name. The male protagonist McDonagh was heroic in saving people, but his back was injured and suffered from pain that could not be completely cured. In order to relieve the pain, he gradually contracted drugs.
Compared with the previous work, this film gave the protagonist a good ending, but at least in my opinion it is still a good film.
