"Dog Tooth"
is another masterpiece of totalitarianism, and it is also a Palme d'Or. So I decided to use words to relieve this frustration.

In fact, the level of the film is in the imagination, and it did not exceed expectations. It is different from the passionate and intuitive of "The Wave". It is indeed more poetic, it is the kind of cold, straight poetic. Using a family to carry such a strong theme fully places people's sociality in such a small space and intimate relationship. It's hard to say whether it will fall into some kind of narrowness, but it is worth affirming that the director has a good grasp of the simplicity of the theme. I just checked that director Yorgos Lanthimos has also directed "The Lobster", the same cold style, gray violence , Yorgos is very good at covering a gray cloud over what should be warm human emotions. Whether it is from the design of the poster or the editing of the film, the color composition and even the soundtrack, they are all minimalist. Such "extreme" and the "extreme" to be expressed by the film complement each other, and a large number of blank spaces are perfectly broken. The overall sense of the film has to be applauded.
The plot doesn’t want to be mentioned too much, just like the director’s concise narrative, although it is a linear narrative, it is different from ordinary rambling, but through other details, actors’ limbs, scene switching, pale dialogue , chaotic ethics, all kinds of factors that make people not sure what will happen in the next second, such a way to make the audience even more nervous.
The naked exposure of human nature made me see Orwell's "1984" and "Animal Farm" in many film reviews. And I think the success of this film is that he uses the family as a carrier, which is different from the public collective, and uses the intimate emotion as a cover to show the brutality of the centralized power. On the one hand, it is exposing human nature and on the other hand, it suppresses human nature.

The dialogue between the mother and the father discussing the baby on the sofa when she is pregnant again in the film actually terrifies me. They don't say how the baby will be born, and how many boys and girls are twins or triplets. It's repeated over and over again, and it's chilling without emotion. I was relieved that there was no new baby being born in the video. However, the slightly similar characters portrayed by the parents and the confusion in some plots remain to be considered.
Then I think about the most frightening thing is that when I was chatting with a few friends, I also talked about wanting to educate my children. At that time, I really thought that this was a good way to prevent children from getting bad diseases, but I never thought that this might be a big lie that can't be fixed.

In my humble opinion, this film is still very successful in giving a slap in the face of today's huge pressure on family education, and most of what the audience remembers is still synonymous with totalitarianism. I hope this will not become the next instigated theme.
