This film is quite unfriendly to white Americans, and almost no white people in the film appear in a positive image, which is probably one of the reasons why this film is mixed on Rotten Tomatoes.
The director is trying very hard to add elements of political correctness, right? However, it is a pity (?) that it has become a dispensable thing in the movie.
As a suspense movie, it doesn't work either. The clues are not revealed bit by bit, but through a person's mouth. As an audience, I said, "This is gone?!"
But Ma's acting is still amazing, every time I see Julianne Moore, I think she's playing Poppy (the temperament is too similar to 2333, Oscar Issac is really handsome, I just realized 2333 now
