Aunt May's family finally sold the Post to the Amazon boss

With the films supported by the acting skills of Aunt May and Hanks, the plot is second. As a digression, the company held a family office party before, and the family played by Aunt Mei was invited to the scene. Aunt May's family seems to have finally sold the Post, which became the subject of a personal case at this client meeting. Interestingly, according to clients' recollections, their mistake was to follow only the family's opinion and not take outside advice, which caused the Post to go from bad to worse, and it ended up being sold to someone else. It looks like the buyers happened to be bankers (led by the Amazon boss), so looking back at the movie now is a mixed bag. However, the family is also developing very well now, and the client, as the head of the family office, also manages the family quite well, so everyone is happy.

The Post quotes

  • Roger Clark: If you got the study from the same source, that would amount to collusion.

Ben Bagdikian: Yeah, we could all be executed at dawn.

Roger Clark: And we could be held in contempt of court - which means Mr. Bradlee and Mrs. Graham could go to jail. Mr. Bagdikian, how likely is it that your source and the Times source are the same person?

  • Kay Graham: When Phil died it was just - I was 45 years old and I had never held - I never had to hold a job in my life. But, I just, I loved the paper, you know. I do. I do so love the paper. I don't want it to be my fault. I don't want to be the one - I don't want to let Phil and my father and all of you kids and everybody down.
