If you look at this movie purely from a story perspective, it will not have a very interesting story, but it should reflect a lot of history 100 years ago. Of course, I don't understand that history at all, I don't understand it at all. So let's talk about the movie:
Bell's love affair with the gambler diplomat at first seemed very immature. Later, after she failed, she walked away, "running", "escape" and "pursuing" for this relationship all her life. Due to the limitations of my experience and experience, I could not understand her feelings. Later, three men who met her said they wanted to marry her, was it because of her personal charm? Or because of status? She calls herself a scientist and an archaeologist. But her academic research is rarely shown in the film. It seems that she can do whatever she wants in troubled times, just because of her aristocratic background.
