This show is generally powerful, but from the perspective of serious Chinese youth today, the focus will inevitably be on its blood and erotica, and there is no doubt that it is not suitable for Chinese people of any age to watch. But anyone who knows the historical background of slavery at that time knows that this should be the most authentic manifestation. If these two points are put aside, I think no one can say that it can truly restore the color of that era. So in general, I agree with this show, it can make me boil as a man.
