Why all the fuss? You know, the genre of the film is suspense, crime, and the writer, director and actor are Oscar winners. Needless to say, the movie is nowhere near as bad! In fact, the film is not bad! The plot is compact, cleverly conceived and well-structured. The film has two main lines: one is that whites discriminate against blacks and smash black families; the other is that white families conspire to murder their wives, sisters, and defraud insurance. How you look at this is interesting!
The film was written by the Coen brothers. This is the main reason that attracts me. The films they write and direct are not only high box office, but also unique among world films, with a strong noir style, often revealing human nature through suspense, thriller, crime, and comedy themes. The plots of these movies will be unexpected, but they are reasonable, but don't be lazy and go crazy, funny, and nonsense!
The director of the film, George Clooney, is a big-name Hollywood actor, as well as a director, screenwriter and producer. He has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor and Best Picture. He must be talented and good looking. "Stylish man".
The film's male lead, Matt Damon, needs no introduction. He is competent in both literary and martial arts. He studied at Harvard University and won the Oscar for Best Screenplay; the heroine also won the Oscar for Best Actress.
Hollywood movies with such a lineup are not bought by domestic theaters. What does it have to do with applauding but not applauding, or applauding and not applauding? Is it a commercial operation? Is it audience preference? still……?
