At a reception, nothing can exist in isolation. Confined spaces and black and white films make people more focused on the subject. The structure of the film is very similar to Perfect Stranger. Everyone is imperfect and has their own untold secrets. Human nature is selfish after all. Short film, very interesting. The open-ended ending ended the rambunctious family reunion with just the right moment. Thomas's extremely lethal eyes can be felt through the black and white picture, and the blue-green light is faintly flashing.
