The title of the film is "The Limits of Control", and it is really a test of your endurance.
There are two types of films: storytelling and imagery. Unfortunately, I'm someone who's used to classifying movies as feature films, so the more I watch, the more confused I get. It turns out that this is an image-type film, stream of consciousness. You can't understand this kind of film without reading a lot of introductions and film reviews. The director of this film has eliminated the story, and all the characters are representatives of different ideas. In constructing a kind of contradiction under the cultural conflict, the method is the connection of art lovers, being kidnapped and killed. Show it, and express the director's deep intention: to promote the artistic ideal of freedom, and to get rid of the constraints of reality on art. The way of expression mainly depends on the last sentence of the slaughtered boss, "Do you think that if you kill me, you can kill reality?" If you replace it with "Do you think that if you kill me, the renminbi will be able to defeat the US dollars", then the theme of the film will become "the currency war between the world's two major powers".
The protagonist is the supporting role of "Ghost Dog Killer", this time it's a positive. The protagonist receives a task to kill a boss who represents the constraints of reality. The protagonist exchanges information with artists, film lovers, musicians, dancers, and scientists before and after. Finally, inexplicably entered the villa guarded by heavy soldiers and killed the boss. From the logic of the story, a lot of it is illogical. Reading other people's film reviews, I learned that the director wanted to remove the "limits of control" on film art, leaving only the art.
The shots are beautiful, the art and costumes are all in place, and the Spanish dancer dances really well. There is not much dialogue, and the taste is really good. Without this, I would not be able to watch it any longer. The film was dull, and it really touched the limit of my patience.
