Watching the first season of "Godless", I feel
Summary of the story: In the western part of the United States in the 1880s, the best adopted son of the black boss, after discovering his conscience, robbed his father of a windfall. In order to prove himself, the father slaughtered a village and released a rhetoric to kill the village that dared to help his adopted son. By chance, the adopted son was not allowed to enter the widow village (men all died in a mining accident). In the end, the widows picked up rifles for themselves and fought against the black boss. In the end, the black boss was killed by his adopted son. . .
Three words to clarify this drama:
1. boring
There are 7 episodes in total, and the first 6 episodes are all digging holes, laying the groundwork for various characters and explaining the relationship between characters. Believe me, I always say boring movies, definitely not boring
2. Miserable
The murderous black boss and the cruelty of the western world all make people feel cruel, and the occasional kindness is warm. The boss of Hei said to the villagers who were praying that there is no God here, but labor and capital are the gods. The scenes are very simple, and the emotions are very real. There is not a bit of sensationalism, but it makes you feel that these days are really miserable. It is repeatedly mentioned in the TV series that the black boss used lynching instead of massacre. Cruelly numbing.
3. Real
I thought that this kind of film could be made with twists and turns, and then interspersed with love and love triangles (forgive me for being a layman). The last thing to see is temporary unity against the enemy! ! This is clearly the B-type that we ordinary people finally compromised. There is no dramatic bloody plot, and there are no twists and turns. TMD has no way to go, okay, let's go for it (other people are coming to the village, you What else could it be?!)
It's been a long time since I watched such a real western movie. People should not test human nature and live the rest of their lives in peace. . .
