Battle of the Genders Short Review:

Personally, I prefer the battle of the sexes. First of all, I made a call for Sister Stone, another superb performance, and I feel that her acting skills are getting more and more skilled. Not only can she sing and dance, but she can also advocate for women's rights. Not only against the anchors of the male-dominated society, but her crying scenes are even more touching, the joy of victory. It is a very contrasting performance with Lala Rambi, but it shows her performance potential very well.

Secondly, to call for Farrell, not only to deduce a completely annoying male power athlete, but also to deduce the various scars behind this character, gambling problems, and marital incompatibility. Although the character hierarchy may not be as deep as he was in Fox Hunter before. And the big change in image and personality is his stable performance.

Then, let's talk about the script. In fact, I really like the little girl in the sun shot by the couple. It is about a family who is busy chasing a little dream for a girl, and there are all kinds of bizarre but interesting characters in it. But when it came to this movie, I felt a strong Oscar smell, which made me especially uncomfortable. Although there are many ideas and good ideas, the actual effect feels a little too obvious. For example, it is a good idea to use this same-sex love as the main line. It is a good idea to dig out the psychology behind Billie Jane played by Sister Stone. It is much better than the perspective of the bystander that I watched too much of my beloved Van High School this year. But I always feel that the story, especially in the back, is still easy to run on the theme of feminism, although this is not the director's intention. (After all, they were filming women's equality. Sister Shishi said that it was a struggle for dignity, not power. There is a difference between the two)

But compared to politically correct films like Wonder Woman and Get Out, the Battle of the Genders is a deliberate attempt to call for gender equality and women's dignity to be more realistic. I think this attempt is still worth encouraging.

In a word, I still recommend Sister Stone fans to watch the battle of genders, but everyone should regard this film as gender equality, not as a feminist film. That would be a big mistake. 8.5/10 (1.5 points for Sister Stone, hehe)
