Lawrence Oliver is frightened as helpless and melancholy as a fawn, and as mad and passionate as Hamlet. . . Oliver is definitely not the tallest and most handsome actor, but his performance is artistic and dramatic, and his personality is too charming. No wonder Vivien Leigh likes, admires him, and stays together for twenty years. The eyes and lines are simply a kind of strange magic, elegant, sad, confused, persistent, persevering, worthy of being the "king of drama". The female number two looks too much like Vivien Leigh, and her appearance is higher than that of the heroine. But the heroine comes with a kind of wildness under the solemn Chen Yi.
