Four years in college, why I want to do a lot of things, but can't find a clue. It's me who is confused, or the whole group of college students is confused. Why can't we college students join forces and do one thing together to make society better.
For the first three years, the school arranged some painless courses, various introductions and introductions, Marxism and Mao Zedong Thought, the key is that even so, the lectures were extremely boring. I looked up and counted the class of 53 students and no more than 5 people listened carefully to the class. Is this a student problem? Maybe, we are just lazy or the mud can't support the wall, but can the teacher change it a little bit, at least after a year, we can probably understand your teaching system, instead of not even remembering the name of the course after the exam. In the last year, I found that I was a waste of nothing, and I took a study in panic and wanted to change my fate. What do you want to do in the future? Whatever you do to make more money. Contribute to the country and society? Don't be ridiculous, Beijing is starting to catch up with the low-end population, it's good to be able to survive.
School is really too far from academics. Some teachers find that this problem is also trying to change, by changing their own education methods, such as letting students take the stage to give lectures in class to cultivate students' language organization ability and the ability to independently check materials. But I found that such a conscientious teacher also encountered resistance from students. The student is so accustomed to silence that he has almost turned into a mindless machine, and suddenly you ask to express his thoughts. He's not thinking, stammering, or having no deep thought about your course at all, stumbling. At this point, the teacher will reluctantly give him poor grades. The classmates perfunctory, sighed in relief, and continued to be silent.
Found it? Not only are students dissatisfied with the education system, but teachers are also complaining. But after all, who are the fans of this highly administrative university system? Who curbs the creativity of students, who hinders the initiative of teachers.
I admire that the male protagonist can build a space for people to develop freely, without barriers between disciplines, and learn art and cooking. It's hard to say that this is more of a community than a university. Many of us don't like our majors and are forced to study for four years. It's better that we don't have any majors in the first year. You can choose courses and decide your major in the second year after thinking about it.
The male lead's final speech was really hot. Our current education system was created in 1893 to adapt to the industrial age. Now that it is so rigid, it is time to change it. There are now HTH schools in the United States. They advocate that students learn by doing projects, and they invite outstanding talents in various fields to teach instead of normal students. For example, how does the government system in the city work? How did ancient people live? Personally build a huge clock, etc., the purpose is to break the limitations of the discipline, cultivate students' practical ability and creativity. And what shocked me the most was that this school was run by the public. Considering that China is still far behind, I don’t think the government of such a school would agree to run it.
Of course, this movie is just a fictional space, but I believe there are better schools than it in reality. I am currently very interested in promoting China's education reform. Do you have any friends who are willing to work together?
